Honduran Mahogany Showpiece
My birth father is a knapper. For decades he’s been crafting spear points and knife blades out of flint, obsidian and semi-precious stones. I couldn’t think of anything better for him to store some of his treasures than in a custom, 7-drawer “museum-style” collector’s display case. There is a 15 degree angle along the front and each drawer is custom fit to depth. The drawers are flocked (not a fun process, but effective and beautiful.)
A glass top allows for the top drawer to serve as display case. Featured are some his finest work.
